What is Funkensense?

Funkensense is a furniture restoration service established in 2021 by local New Orleans artist Ali Rey. Our brand offers a variety of one of kind furniture pieces, but specializes in customizing and tailoring works of art specifically for each client. Funkensense aims to restore family heirlooms, give new life to vintage and antique items, and create luxury furniture art that is both beautiful and practical for every day use and functionality. Our goal is to take beautiful pieces that were created lifetimes ago, and restore them to a new glory that transcends new lifetimes.
